Does anyone have music for the jig "The Orphan" as played by Eileen Ivers on the Cherish the Ladies CD called "Women of Irish Music in America" (or something like that). The set is followed by a reel called "Paul Montague's", which is also an excellent tune. I would appreciate music for both. Thanks.
I'll post it right now. I'm not familiar with the recording you cite, but the version I have is second-hand from Eileen Ivers at a fiddle camp, so it should be close. The way we do it, honoring some other Ivers arrangement, is to follow it with King John's Reel. I don't know Montague's.
