Morning folks. Just to report that last night saw what I reckon must be Sierra Leone's first ever session. A chap from Antrim called Gerry on mandolin and guitar, a bluegrass fiddler from Vermont called Brennan, an anonymous bodhran player from Virginia, my goodself from Down on mandolin and a load of NGO workers and UN military personnel on the p*ss. Q, where were you? This place is just up the road from you in African terms!
Ah, sorry Paul.. I was on my way there but got a flat tire in Mali, where the locals kept pestering me about whether I knew Mary-Anne Kennedy from Celtic Connections.
glad you had a blast though! Nice to know of another session on the continent, any rate.
Hi Paul Glad to hear you are having a good time .I know you got married since i saw you so i thought you were going there on your honymoon but i guess i was wrong.
Some good sessions in Newcastle since you left with another one started up in Eddy Clarkes bar at the Harbour maybe youll catch it the next time you are home.
Im going down to Ennis at Easter so i will see Johnny R and have a few tunes but he is busy gettin organized for his wedding
Greetings from Sierra Leone

Hi Paul!
Is Lucy playing with you?
Quite an impressive session list you've built up now. What next?
International space station? Now there's an idea...
Have fun, keep well,
Love, Brianx
