Hi, I'm being sent on a course to Wasserburg arn Inn in Bovaria in late February. Does anybody know of any Irish sessions that happen in and around this area of Germany?
hi,
I'm sorry I don't know anything about sessions down in Bavaria, BUT: maybe something interesting for you folks out there round Oldenburg, Lower Saxony;
There's an Irish Folk Session on each and every tuesday in a pub called "Fiddler's Green". The idea of offering this open session is supported by the dutch group "RAPALJE" (www.rapalje.com) who let us use their song and tune material.
It would be great if some of you readers would be able to join us,
have fun,
Catleen
Hi Stacey,
I have a friend in Bavaria, I'll ask him about sessions and let you know.
Cathleen,
Do you know Alma? She is a friend of mine living in Oldenburg. She plays irish music with some friends. If you do know her: Sag ihr mal liebe Gr
Hi everyone!
I just moved in Erlangen (near Nürnberg) a few weeks ago, and i was wondering if you knew any place around with some sessions? I am playing the tin whistle, and if there was anyway of taking some courses i'd be interested too!
Thanks!

I forgot to ask: Is there anybody from around Dresden at The Session? I'd love to start a session here (or join a group of "kitchen musicians").

Kassel might be a bit far away, though.
