After being off the air for a while it seems that the tunedb database is back in action. I find it a great source for tunes - literally thousands of them. Often variations of the same tune. I realise that I should be doing it all by ear - but it is great to get a little help along the way.
Max - Yep it's gone again! The messages posted on the site explained that it had gone done originally because of server linking problems. It came back online on 29th Jan - so maybe this is just a minor glitch and it will be back soon. I suggest that you try every now and then. I got my tune off it yesterday 'Lord Mayo' so I have got something new to work on till it's back!
I can't get tunedb.woodenflute.com page up either. All I get is a message saying that the page cannot be displayed and suggesting that I open the tunedb.woodenflute.com home page, and then look for links to the information I want.
Wonder what the web programmer was on when he wrote that bit of brilliant advice.
