i would strongly recommend "Now your Talking" from Gill & MacMillan, Goldenbridge dublin 8 ..thats the pulshers so I'm sure it can be order from ..wherever ...it is a fantastic course in real Irish; Donegal (Ulster Irish) it is the only one that has been on TG4 ( ex telifis na gaeilge() it has videos and cassette
Emily, I was given TY Irish, which is how I know about it. I haven't seen any other courses, but I'd generally agree with your comments. TY Irish looks as if it may be aimed at the more academically minded market.
Anyway, at present I've got the higher priority of getting to grips with Dutch/Flemish, for family reasons.
