The Donegal Set

The Donegal Set

Is anyone familiar with a set of tunes called 'The Donegal Set'? I just found it on Kazaa and all it says is "with Altan". It's 2 jigs, a highland, and 2 reels.

Re: The Donegal Set

Eric, Please be aware if you are peer to peer file sharing through KaZaa, you are violating copyright laws here in the US and could be sued. Altan has already suffered loss of income by their former recording company, Green Linnet. I would hate to see this wonderful band lose even more.

If not, please accept my apologies.

Thanks, D.

DebWah,
I completely understand. But this copy of Kazaa was on my school's computer, and they just happened to have some Altan on there. I deleted my copy of Kazaa months ago.

Re: The Donegal Set

Errik,

Glad to hear you are not sharing. I'm quite suprised a school would advovate this practice by keeping the application and files (music) available.

Again, I apologize if I offended thee.

Deb.

By the way, the Donegal Set featuring Altan is on the Chieftains Cd Water from the Well. You'll find the titles of the tune in the recording section of this site.
