I've heard of the Tinker's Daughter, the Tinker's Apron, and the Tinker's Stick (aka the New Policeman), but not Tinker's Frolic. Maybe somebody else knows a tune by that name. It would help to see the abcs for the tune--it's often easier to pin a name to the melody than to what might be a local alternative title.
It's pretty similar to the Jolly Tinker. The version on Oisin Mac Diarmada's CD (Ar an bhfidil) starts basically with the last part of the verions of the Jolly Tinker I know (5 parts). The B part is of the Tinker's Frolic is the A part of Jolly Tinker (which has only two parts). The sleeve notes of the CD say that the Tinker's Frolic come from the Goodman manuscripts, a collection of music from Munster (s. http://www.itma.ie/home/publications.html).
Alternate tune name?
