Any Ottawa folk out there?

Hi, just wondering if there are any celtic musicians from Ottawa on this site...

I'm sure there are. You could go to the members directory and search under Ottawa, in case they put it in their member profile.

Hi Sarah. I'm also on this site and from Ottawa. Of course you're always welcome at the Rasputin's session on Mondays any time. It's mostly Irish and Cape Breton tunes that get played, depending on who shows up that night.

Re: Any Ottawa folk out there?

Hi Sarah - I live just a few blocks from Canterbury. There is a newish Sunday session at Patty's Pub on Bank. The host, Matt Pepin, is a Canadian old time/Cape Breton fiddler but we don't let him play that shite! (Joking... kind of.) The repertoire tends to stay Irish with the odd set of Newfoundland tunes. No matter, you'd be a welcome addition to Team Pepin! See you around.
