I agree.

I wonder if the second tune was a fairly recently composed one: the syncopated / long crotchet-y bit in its second part is the sort of thing that seems to crop up more in such tunes than in the general run.

Hmm... I don't know any of the tunes, but you can hear him say "Donal Reilly" just before he plays, if you listen closely. Clue, perhaps?

Lovely, rhythmic playing, unconventional style. Maybe it's just me, but I hear echoes of John McKenna's flute in there.

I'm not familiar with the 2nd tune either.

First one is Jimmy Batty´s and last one is Seán sa Ceó, (it says so in the comments) - no ideas on the 2nd reel though
