Hey, Kenny - no apology needed. What's in a name? I learned both tunes, at different times, under the same title of "Black Rogue". To me, they are extremely closely related, to the point of being simply different settings of the same melody. The G version that John Doonan plays in the clip is listed in some scottish collections as "Johnny McGill". Is that maybe the song you were minded of?

To be fair it's called the Black Rogue on the LP, but it's not the tune that I know by that name.
It seems to be one of those tunes that contains parts familiar from lots of other tunes, but nothing particularly distinctive.
