CommandoTrad à Montréal

CommandoTrad

Why I love Montréal! As one of the musicians playing in ‘mission’ # 2, I found it to be a totally exhilarating experience!

Re: CommandoTrad à Montréal

I thought Commando was this forum for mandolin players ( see previous comments re Red Henry ).
Looked fun, though.
Anyone want to try anything similar in London ?

Re: CommandoTrad à Montréal

Ok, lets get started; we need volunteers for video and editing, and to establish best place, time, and day.
I was thinking of Liverpool Street, but St Pancreas is closer to me anyway ( PS they don't have an organ there, so it's St Pancras ).
Vote for, or email me, re;
best station;
best time;
weekday or weekend.
Could be fun.

This could be the start of something big........music for the masses !

Re: CommandoTrad à Montréal

The trouble is that the masses just walk on by as if nothing is happening. I remember a few years back when Breton band Ti Jaz played on the bandstand on Brighton seafront one summer Sunday afternoon. Only a tiny minority of the great mass of passers-by bothered to stand and watch for a few minutes. And these weren't commuters rushing to get home - they were just people out for a stroll with naff all else to do.

Re: CommandoTrad à Montréal

I passed on #2 to Facebook friends. Should be as popular as #1 was. Love to view #3! Recognized more faces among the infiltrators.

Any Torontotonians up for a raid? The TTC, or perhaps the Eaton Centre?
