fiddle bowing can be emulated quite easily on these types of tunes, on unisonic [English Duet] concertinas, for polkas a paired[quavers] and three one reversing bellows, seems to work quite well , for slides something similar works again, pairing one and half beats,going over bar lines with slurs etc.
this cannot be done on Anglo Concertina in the same way owing to it not being unisonic.
a very good exercise for practising more complicated bellows reversal is to take the first bar [s] of Drowsy Maggie,and practise the fiddle shuffle on eb ,ed,bd, or e ,bedbd or eb,edbe,or any other combination you think sounds good.
