Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin & Friends (featuring Iarla Ó Lionáird, Mel Mercier, Tiarnán Ó Duinnchinn, Cillian Vallely, Grace Toland, the Carolan String Orchestra and members of the Armagh Pipers Club)
Thought this concert was only okay it had its highs and lows.
Ronan Le Bars and Nicolas Quemener thought these guys were great.
This was my first time at the festival, and to be honest I thought there would be a bigger crowd there, though I think most events where sold out, still I think it’s a festival that deserve more exposure.
Would be interesting to see what other people thought.
I just moved to Belfast from Toronto, so always on the look out for events on the net. I just happened to notice a poster in John Hewitt's pub, perhaps better advertizing would help?
Thanks for the feedback, I'll go next year once I'm better aquainted with the place.

Re: William Kennedy Piping Festival
As an outsider to traditional music, the highlights from what I saw were;
Brian Finnegan Band (featuring Aidan O'Rourke, Ian Stephenson, Jim Goodwin & special guest Jarlath Henderson).
Mozaik (featuring Donal Lunny, Andy Irvine, Nikola Parov, Bruce Molsky and Rens van der Zalm) where Okay, was not a great fan of Andy Irvine input.
Roncos do Diabo (Portugal) these guys where a lot of fun, high on entrainment value.
