Steven Markem, a trad player from Ennis, is in some Apprentice competition and needs people to add him on Facebook so he wont be eliminated. We should all give him a hand.
Yes. I was invited by a friend to join this group and I have lots of friends who seem to know him. I do not however and I do not know anything about the competition, not even watching the UK version of The Apprentice so I opted to decline.
I gather that the first cut of people in the competition is made based on how many fans are in their facebook group. I am not sure what that has to do with being successful in business but there you go.
If you were so inclined to add yourself to Stephen's fan page though I am sure he would appreciate it and it does not cost anything.
Why would I, or any other thesession.org member, want to help someone we don't know win a competition we know nothing about? Why should we favour *them* over any of their opponents?
A trad head in need...

Re: A trad head in need...
How does it work? Is being a well-established Facebook junkie a prerequisite to play in traditional music competitions?
O tempora, o mores!

Re: A trad head in need...
Or did I get it wrong, and it doesn't have anything to do with traditional music?

...I was trying to be non-gender-specific there, but on re-reading the initial post, I see he's called Stephen, so I assume he's a he.
