My mother owned and played a Hohner 180 bass accordion, she was a professional player, the colour was blue with mother of pearl inlaid it was from the 1940s era, and she sold it in the early 1980s, and I am trying to find out where it is, if not a similar one, so is there anyone that can help me.
Interestingly, someone was trying to sell a cheaper make of 180-bass instrument recently.
General opinion seemed to be that a 180-bass was a bit of a monster, most people didn't go beyond a 120-bass for ergonomic reasons ( not to mention shoulder-strain ).
