Book on Laerning French horn

Book on Laerning French horn

I know it's a long shot but has anyone got any info on a book by a guy who set out to learn the French Horn from scratch. It's a kind of journal not and instructional book.

The one I know is called: "On the Horns of a Dilemma: Irish Traditional Music and its French Horn Antecedents"

it's a gripper!

Re: Book on Laerning French horn

Every time I play along with MIDI files made from ABCs I always choose the "French Horn" option.

Thanks - job done !
That weblink took me to details of the play the book and a broadcast on Midweek. It had been BBC4 Book of the Month in 2008.
Just sent off for the book.
