Fair Play to the GAA!

Fair Play to the GAA!

I don't know if any of you are watching the GAA All-Stars programme on now on RTE1 television. It was great that they opened up with the Kilfenora Céilí Band in full flight. The Band were joined half way into their performance by some mighty set dancers. I thought it quite appropriate considering the sporting context that like any great hurling team the Band also had some impressive subs! John Rynne from Ennis was one I recognised as a very able substitute for Garry Shannon who must have been otherwise unavailable. Anyhow congrats once more to the great Kilfenora Band and Irish Culture abú!!

Don't worry BB, your day in the sun will eventually come around. Down here in Clare we had to wait 81 years for that notable victory in 1995. We did it again in 1997 but I'm afraid since then our sporting prowess has waned and it's back to the music.
