Straight from the source (Laffen):
Found in a Norwegian collection, no name, slightly differently notated than the most common version (this one), that was recorded by Ånon Egeland on the album "Norske turdanser ". No sources known other than the notation.
Ah, tusen takk, Snorre! So my guess was almost correct as for it coming from the westernmost outpost of Norway Got it from the Aamos lads who would have it from either Laffen or Ånon then, I suppose.
Tune ID

Re: Tune ID
Shetland? Hmm, sounds more English or something to me. Kind of hornpipey. Nice tune, whatever it is!
Err, 'fraid I don't know its name though.
