Using a netbook for Amazing Slowdowner and/or Total Recorder

Has anyone tried using one of the small form laptops /netbooks with the tune learning software Amazing Slowdowner and/or Total Recorder? Were they satisfactory? Can you tell me a little about the specs of the machine you used?

I use Amazing Slowdowner regularly and I really recommend it. Its not a demanding program, and I use it on my two year old macbook.

The only bad thing is that there are no way to categorize the tunes you have added to the playlist.

I've used Total Recorder for years, mainly for capturing radio streams, but also for converting old analog media to digital. It's very easy to use.
