Greetings from a very wet west Cork! Im new to the site, and hope its ok to post this ...I have a lovely Hamilton flute for sale.If interested please email me, and I will post pic with details.I would appreciate any advice as to where to advertise..kind regards to all

You might try over on the Chiff & Fipple message board, and woodenflute.com
Might want to correct the waiting period info. though. I suppose it might be a 7 year waiting list for a KEYED flute from Hammy, but a keyless should be available in a 1 to 2 years.

Yeah, I got a keyed flute from him as well a few years ago, and the wait only ended up being about 2 years (maybe even a bit less if I recall correctly). Still a wonderful flute though. Hopefully people don't equate less of a waiting list with a poorer quality instrument, because that couldn't be further from the truth in this case. Anywho, good luck with the sale.

I agree, a shorter waiting period doesn't mean that the instrument quality is poorer.
The waiting period was 8 months for my Hamilton keyless flute and I got it 5 months ago. And I love this flute, wonderful, it's a great instrument.
I think I will add keyes as soon as I can.

I got My left hand keyed Hammy last year and I waited 2 years for it.... mis-advertising!
