Kathalina

Has anyone heard of a tune = Waltz type ??
Called - KATHARINA,, ? -- Played by Joe Burke = Charlie Lennon --
A guy played it in our session last Sat, I would
Like to Learn it -- It's not really an Irish Traditional Tune

Re: Kathalina

Don't thank me, it was all down to Google's "fuzzy search" logic.

I typed in something like "Cathalina tune" (thinking maybe it was C not K) and there it was, at the top of the list.

We have a Catalina Island over here, near LA.... don't know if the tune was named after it, though.

Re: Kathalina

I think Catalina is just a Spanish form of Katherine
