I'm searching for a 2 row Paolo Soprani from the 1930's, the model predating the streamlined greys and reds we all know. Celluloid covered body and most often metal grille, with a badge reading "Comm. Paolo Soprani e Figli".

Please let me know if you've got one, or know where I might be able to find one. Though these accordions are not regarded as much by most players and enthusiasts, I've got an interest in finding one for myself.
Lar - I wish you well in your quest. I have a friend in SE Ireland, who is a hoarder of button boxes and had something akin to what you're looking for. (See Photo). I'll check him out but it was three or four years ago so don't build up your hopes.
