Sorry Sth Tipp, I was probably being a bit flippant in my first reply although if you were a bodhrán player, it's good news as there have been complaints that such classes weren't available in the past. Enrolment details for these classes are given at: http://media.comhaltas.ie/docs/BodhranWorkshop.
More information on the Éigse generally is given at: http://comhaltas.ie/events/detail/scoil_eigse/. Classes cover most traditional instruments and are geared to ability levels ranging from improver to advanced. Auditions are carried out on the first Sunday to ascertain the class most suited to the student. It should also be noted that some of the best sessions can be found at the Fleadh during Éigse week before the arrival of the multitudes at the weekend!
And if you don't feel like too much walking around (years ago I found that aspect an essential part of the craic looking into different hostelries until you find that "perfect" session but as one gets older ..... - happens to all of us sooner or later!) the Bridge House Hotel is a good bet as some nights you'll find three or four sessions going on at the same time.
Scoil Eigse, is it all workshops? is it good?
