I can't post in the tunes/request section because I don't know the title of the tune.
All I remember, is the first part. I tried to find the tune with "Reverend's tune finder" with no results. I am sure this polka is well known. Does somebody can help me ?
Here is what I remember of this tune
X:1
T: ?
M:2/4
L:1/8
K:D
AD F/E/D | FA d>d | cA AG | EF G>B |
AD F/E/D | FA d>d | cA GE | D2 Dz :|
Thank's Joesmith and Kenny. It's definitely Baker's. I was listening to all my Sliabh Luachra CDs to find it. At the very moment I opened Kenny's Link I heard the on my CD player by Seamus Creagh and Aidan Coffey. They call it Matt Teehan's #2. They credit the accordion player Matt Teehan as the composer.
It's a nice Polka an d I'll include it in my repertoire.
Thanks again

Re: Do you know this polka?
"Forde's" also known as "The Taur" comes close to it, Pierre.
