n order to fund the purchase of a new flute, I need to sell one of my fiddles and a banjo.The fiddle is a very fine instrument for the price, and is sure to please anyone with a discerning ear. The violin was made by Xuan Tao Wang of Beijing in 2003. He is an independent luthier that has 3 additional workers in the shop with him. The workmanship on this instrument is superb, and it has a very balanced sound across all four strings. I recently had a new bridge made for it, and had the soundpost adjusted. Right now it is strung up with Dominant strings, and has a nice reedy sound with plenty of sustain and volume. I also will be including a really nice D style case, and a J. Lasalle Model 41 Pernambuco bow. Its going for $950, if you don't want the case and bow I can sell it for less.
The banjo is a Vega Professional, and dates to the 20's accordion to Bernunzio which is where I bought it for $1,450 last year. The case is still in great shape, and the banjo is pristine. It is pictured without the arm rest, but I do have it as well. I am looking to get $1,150 for it. Pictures of of both instruments can be seen here...
