I would recommend sitting at home on your computer and doing it through ebay.
Although a stroll around Dublin through all the music shops sounds a nice idea too.
I would guess that armrests don't care which make of banjo they are fixed to.
Try Frank Mc Namara, he's a banjo dealer..always has a few framus banjos. he should have a spare arm rest or know where you can get one. i can dig out his number if you need it....
Yeah, my guess is that you're going to need to find a dealer that might have some spare parts around (like sherryc mentioned), because the Framus banjo design is pretty unique, and just any old arm rest isn't going to work.
You might try talking to Bernunzio Uptown Music, or Vinny at 4stringbanjos.com, if you don't have any luck finding one around Dublin.
Hi Frank - I am assuming that Frank McNamara = Framus Frank??? I have given my nephew an old banjo of mine that needs some work done on it - can you contact me please. I bought my current Majestic bango (which I love) from you at the last Tullamore Fleadh and you tweeked it for me in Cavan this year. My number is O87-2561O53. Ray
