Just wondering what the critical S.org collective thinks of Dàimh as a band. I think, all things considered, their pretty good myself. What do you think? Like them or hate them lets here it....

"All things considered" they are one of my favourite bands. Truly outstanding individually and as a unit.

Wasn't that Danu, No Cause?

Yes Henk, I believe Danu did have an album called "All Things Considered". I may even have it. I was just quoting Solidmahog back when he said, "I think, all things considered, their (sic.) pretty good myself." I think that is a bit of an understatement. Anyway, apologies for the confusion.
I checked out their bits on youtube, it cannot tell me what they are like live of course, but they sound rather good. Progressive, I would say, but good. The same goes for At First Light. (McSherry - ooh!) Give me the Bothys or Dedannen, though, any day.

Yes Mr Rook, progressive and of that there is no doubt, so were the bothy band & dedannan in their time. A mighty live act indeed. Mr no cause, yes, an understatement, lol.
I can't see anything not to like about them but they seem to be under produced

Scottish Gàidhlig used to have fadas going in both directions but in the end some language 'high heid yins' decided to standardise them and put them all in the one direction.
