I'm trying to locate a certain Youtube video which I came across a few months ago. It was of an amateur band playing on stage and I can't remember what they called themselves. It was an accordion and banjo at the forefront and there was definitely a guitar accompanist. I think there may have been a drummer and bass player too. On the clip I'm looking for, they played a set of two jigs, "Saddle the Pony" and "The Lilting Banshee."
They weren't fantastic musicians but that switch of tunes had so much energy and I'd love to hear it again because I remember being surprisingly impressed when I first heard it. If anybody knows that clip I'd appreciate if you could post the link. Though I do realise I'm really scraping the end of the barrel here.
Not quite, the quality was quite good. The band was amateur but not entirely convinced the video work was. It had very good clarity IIRC. I tried searching under tune names. A lot of results came up but none of the first few pages had the video.
