If I'm able to play a quarter as well as that some day I'd be happy. I didn't realize how intricate the engineering is for uilleann pipes.... (having never seen one up close hasn't helped in my learning)..... all those reeds and their different types..... and the barrel reed that's over 50 years old.... shows you what tender loving care and respect for one's instrument/craft can achieve. If there's an uilleann piper out there in the Seattle area who'd be willing to give me a show and tell, I'd be interested in learning more.
