I hope someone can help me here. I am paying tribute to Ollie Conway, Mick Flanagan and Michael Mahoney on my radio show tomorrow. Does anyone know if the last track on Michael's CD was recorded at the Blonde's? Kilfarboy, do you know? Any help is appreciated...
Sorry for delay in getting the information which is too late for your radio programme. For interest though, the last track was actually recorded in Michael Mahony's house by Frank Whelan and Joe O'Connor - None of the tracks were recorded at the Blondes. Frank produced the CD so if you need any further details you can contact him direct on ceoltrad@eircom.net.
Moria, in my haste to get back to you I got the information for Michael's CD totally wrong. The producer was in fact Joe O'Connor while Frank Whelan was responsible for engineering the CD. You can direct any further queries to Joe at reachtairecce@eircom.net.
Thanks, Bannerman! Actually Joe emailed me with the information last night. It was too late for this week's show but I always do a show on Miltown right before I go to the Willie Week, so I'll have the info for then.
