There was a song on Clarefm's Wednesday session (March 25) at around 42 minutes in. I caught the name, but I can't find anything about the singer, maybe I'm not spelling it right. PJ Murahy, it sounded like. Can anyone help? Thanks!
Try googling P.J.Murrihy. There“s quite a bit about him.
One of my favourite singers, although some would say his style is an acquired taste. His albums sell very well in the USA.
I believe he is a neighbour of Kilfarboy, give or take a few miles !
Yup thats the one! Those spellings always get me. I've had another one of his songs stuck in my head for ages, something with the word's "I've always loved the jigs and reels blah blah...", need to track it down now!

P J Muraghy, maybe (I'm only guessing here)? Not much comes up if you Google it, except one lonely mention on this page:

Very last item on the bottom of the page.
