Well, indeed inspired by the lack of responses on this I have indeed turned it into a full 2 part tune. I was sure that at least the first bar was from something else but nobody seems to know what.
It needs a name so I am open to ideas:

Noodling around on the mandolin I started playing this:

It sounds very familiar but I can't figure out where from. Various searches through the Rev's program are coming up blank. Any ideas?
