I have an Irish Polka that I'd like the proper name for. I've been playing it for some time as "Not Maggie in The Wood". Can any kind soul help a poor benighted Englishman (always go for the 'pity me' vote) ?
I have loaded it onto http://www.onmvoice.com/play/4564 for all hopeful helpers.
Thank in advance.
I like it but I don't know the tune.
So I cannot help you.
I tried but only came up with this one so far; http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/2928
"Fish And Taters"

Yes, it is indeed "Fish and Taters" (or at least 95% of it) and has all three of the polkas that I have on my recording of "The Rakes" - but I'll bet that it had an Irish title originally! Thanks to all for your help.
Name this Polka!

Re: Name this Polka!
It's 3 tunes anyway! How can someone submit 3 tunes?
