Hey, that's GREAT! Congrats to you and your family... Are you doing all your posting now to make up for later when you'll have less time to post? Give our best to your lady wife!
As the father of a daughter who also exhibits tremendous musical abilities (although mine tends torward Wagnerian Operatic Outbursts), I wish you joy. Oh, and a good set of earplugs.
I, obviously, haven't gotten the hang of this internet thing yet. I keep posting where I don't want to post. Thank God I don't play Irish music this badly...at least I don't think I do!
Anyway, again, congradulations on the birth of your daughter. I pray the joy of a great father-daughter relationship becomes yours over the years. There's nothing like it!

Congrats Glauber! Just don't be surprised--or act too disappointed-- if she ends up prefering Marilyn Manson or Barry Manilow, or stranger still, accordion. Music is a calling, after all, not something we have a lot of personal say over. If you want her to play Irish music with you, expect to learn saxophone yourself to join her ska band....
New Musician In Training
New Musician In Training
My first daughter, Laura Katarina Ribeiro, was born this Sunday, November 25, 1:20 pm, being 3813 grams (8lb7oz) big and 20.5 inches long..
So far she has demonstrated great aptitude for emotional outbursts of sean-nos crying. I'll keep you posted on her musical progress!
