Re: up down and around

Francis,
What type of tune is it you're looking for? I know of a jig called Up in the Air, a polka named Up and Away, and a reel known as The Upper Room. Could any of these be the one (there aren't that many trad tunes with names that start with "U")? I can post each of these tunes, but it would be more efficient to single one out.

Re: up down and around

Will,

Thank's ! This tune is on a CD of Mugar. I think it's a reel. May be Upper Room ?

Re: up down and around

Hi Francis,

" Up down and aroud " is a combination of 2 tunes. The first is calling " Far Away ".
I think it's this one you are looking for. It's a waltz, but curiously it's better to dance it as mazurka ....

I don't have the ABC tune, but I can send you the notes if you require it.
