Popcorn was truly a living legend. i smuggled poitin from Eire to the States. Believe it or not , i was able to give this fella a taste of some Uisce i brought back from Donegal- made from Barley.Not bad said poppy - he still preferrred the taste of Sweet Corn Mash - but he liked that Irish stuff- appreciated the craftsmanship that went into the making of it- that sweet, ancient tradition of puttin' up the stuff. Also a Great Man for the old time fiddle and banjer music . Raised in a time when The Music (old Time) was the preferred form of entertainmentPop was al living link to bygone days. Few are lucky enough to live this close to the Past. {Either Elsewhere or Here} If ye would - drink a health to this wonderful man. His like will not be in it again
