Happened to hear this for the first time on Eoin O’Neill’s Monday night trad show on Clare FM (about 57.05 in) from 9 March 09. Like how Eoin said he heard it in an Ennis coffee shop on his way to work, then put it on the show. (The coffee shop man should be happy!)
An unbelievably beautiful song in the Irish multicultural genre perhaps. Can’t find the lyrics anywhere. This has got to go down as an international classic of “ITM”.
“In 2003, Róisín recorded for Sharon Shannon's much acclaimed album Libertango. The song was penned by Treasa Ní Cheannabháin and the music composed by both Treasa and Dónal Lunny. Following its appearance on Libertango, the song was released as a single in Ireland. The aim was to help raise awareness of the Palestinian plight but primarily to aid the Galway Palestinian Solidarity Movement in bringing Palestinian children from the Palestinian camps within Israel to Galway for a short break from the everyday hostilities they experience there.”

I don't know what it is about that version or that song or what...but it soars in freedom...and gets your blood up.
Dangerous!

The Eoin O'Neill program mentioned above was Friday 6 March, not 9th. Sorry.
