I'm officially launching my Irish Banjo Tutor Book at the Corofin Trad Festival in Co. Clare next Wednesday 4th March followed by a banjo concert (www.corofintradfest.com)
I'm then, in true Irish style, launching it AGAIN, at the Nyah Festival in Co. Cavan on March 14th!! (www.cavanmusic.com)
A big thank you to all who have bought it so far - I hope it has been of benefit to you.
The book has helped immensely with eliminating R hand/arm position problems and tension I have been struggling with. There are several good seams in the book that Intermediate players like myself can mine for some time to come. But I wish I had it when I was first starting out! My son (7) will benefit from it when he starts to play, as it is the only book I'll need to get him going.
The approach to hand positioning alone was so helpful. I was tending to arch my wrist and would have elbow pain sometimes from tension. Best to you Enda...enjoy the launches.
Ah b-llox!
I only live 15 minutes from corofin but am in Denmark at the moment and wont be back for another week.
I'd love to be there but, well, thats life!
Have a great night Enda and I hope it goes well.
All the best,
Dave.

Re: Launch of Irish Banjo Tutor
Dick, you seem to be confusing your various alter egos. Isn't 'John Grover' the one who plays the banjo?
