Glasgow irish music show on celticradio.net

Hello everyone,

Celtic Music Radio is a station based in Strathclyde University and serving the Glasgow area (1530AM, web address below).

Yesterday saw the debut of a 1 hour show dedicated to Irish music, particularly within the Glasgow area. The show is presented partly in Gaelic & partly in English and should air every Tuesday from 6-7pm. The presenter Colm Campbell is a good friend of mine & a regular at our session.

The first show went well, pace a few minor technical hitches that I'm sure his brothers will let him forget abouit some time in 2049. Worth a listen particularly if you live anywhere near Glasgow or intend visiting the area as a fair amount of airtime was given to advertising local events and talking to a couple of local guests well known in the Glasgow irish cultural scene.

A nice mention was given to the late Owen Kelly who was a true fixture on the Glasgow ceili circuit

Plenty of other interesting shows sheduled for other time slots too, details at the website.
