i really want to check out some music.
folk songs i mean.

Just adding to Harry's post, if you want to quickly go to any particular type of music (no folk songs though) on the Comhaltas website click on http://comhaltas.ie/music/archive/C62/ which gives you an index of all the material that's been posted there in the last two years or so. Conversely if you want to see the more recent stuff, just go to http://comhaltas.ie where new clips are posted on a regular basis.
