This isn't strictly Irish trad, but I thought this might be a good jumping-off point due to similarities. Do any of you know where one could find a copy of Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger's "Matching Songs of Britain and America"? I've been searching but all I can find is confirmation that it exists.
This is pretty unrelated to the original post but those two have a very interesting relationship, their story touching, sometimes tangentially sometimes not, all sorts of interesting people and places and musics. It's worth every effort to learn about, especially if you like history or folk music. She's spectacular. O-K.. plug over.
