Could session tunebook additions be a measure of worth? Stats for the suggestions thus far:
Arianna' Tower - added to 38 tunebooks
Bang Your Frog on the Sofa - added to 224 tunebooks
Trip to Dorrigo - added to 9 tunebooks
Alyssia's - added to 10 tunebooks
Breakfast Epiphanies - added to 12 tunebooks
Bush's Farewell - added to 22 tunebooks
If so, Bang Your Frog on the Sofa would seem to take the accolade - by quite a heavy margin ....
Will CPT always acts embarassed when a visitor or someone at our session brings out that tune. He says it doesn't even sound Irish. But secretly he likes the attention.
The aforementioned sofa was really a padded booth in the corner of a brewery taproom. Besides being able to bang it with your frog to make triplets, it had other unique qualities. At one end the cushion was loose from the frame, so that if you leaned too far forward while playing it would lose its center of gravity and tip you forward into the drinks table.
I don't mean to sound braggy when I say I like my tunes.... I'm just embarassed that anyone else might like them as well, which is why they're not here... (Sorry for the incredibly bad wording, I don't really know how to explain this)

Best TheSession.org Composition Award
Hmm just kidding, no awards here. But I'm bored, and I was looking at Gian Marco's compositions.
So... tell me. In your opinions, what's the best composition a TheSession member has ever composed and posted?
I'm torn between Arianna's Tower and Bang Your Frog On The Sofa:

But there might be many other good ones that I haven't discovered yet, so that's why this thread is going to be so useful.

Re: Best TheSession.org Composition Award
I'd suggest any of these...

Trip To Dorrigo, Alyssia's Reel or Breakfast Epiphanies

Written by the annoyingly talented Davydd, who by the way will be appearing on "Australia's Got Talent" in February.
I had to mention that, because he's too shy and retiring to mention it himself...NOT!

Re: Best TheSession.org Composition Award
But how DO you beat a song with a name like 'Bang Your Frog on the Sofa'?
Anyone know who came up with that name?

I've always been much too embarassed to post any of my noodlings here, so I'm gonna go with Bang your Frog. Fabulous tune.
