Running the snippets through my tune search (http://abctunesearch.com), it comes up with reasonable matches with the <Mammal> That Ate The <Object> family of tunes. I don't necessarily think they're the ones you're after, but you might check it out...
If you transcribe a bit more of what you know, you might get some better matches from abctunesearch. Or try digging a bit deeper and looking at some of the lesser matches to see if any of those are what you're looking for...
Thanks!! It's The Cat that Ate the Candle. I have a really nice solo flute version of this tune by an unknown player. I just learned it but have already met my quotient for unnamed tunes.
