Despite the very dire sound quality, these tunes have really caught my ear and I would be grateful if anyone here could offer their names.

Re: At the Racket utube set

The first is Kitty Come a Clicking from the Races and the set of reels following the flings are two Josie McDermott tunes: The Trip to Birmingham and Darby's Farewell to London.

Re: At the Racket utube set

Thanks guys. I guess I'll have to pick up a copy James Carty's album to get an audible version of these tunes to learn from. Lovely set.

It is worth mentioning that Josie McDermott was, among many other things, a sax player.

flute and whistle player

songwriter
playwright
actor
