Mags was a brilliant dancer, I did'nt know her that well but believe she was raised in England and moved home with her family.
She was a cracking dancer funny, easy going and was well liked and known on the ceili circuit. She was killed by a drunk driver while on a tour dancing in America a few years ago.
She was a goodun, taken way before her time.

A ndrew Macnamara and the Lahawns
this release is a compilation of tracks from two live dance/session cds recorded during the 90s-ish, one in feakle & one in kinvara, featuring slightly different lineups of an ensemble led by tulla box player andrew macnamara. the fiery set of reels featuring margaret's dancing (i'm pretty sure) is Mary McMahon's/O'Rourke's, track 14 on the new disc and originally on the feakle recording titled "Live at Lena's".....

Haven't seen the pic but i toured in the Irish dance show in which Mags was killed.
Her smile would have brightened anyone's day.
