I know this is primarily a question about a specific tune but it is also a broader issue for me as well in that it's occasionally cropped up with other tunes. The tune is in our Tunes section and I know the name of the composer (Wim Poesen) but I can't find out how to contact him. I'd like to use this tune in a (non-commercial) magazine article - talk about it and produce my (simple) arrangement of the sheet music. I'd link to versions of it on YouTube as well. Which bits of this am I allowed to do? Am I ever allowed to put up my own arrangements of tunes with known composers without asking first? There's absolutely nothing in this for me - I just love the tune and would love to use it!
