Looking for other Irish trad players in Palm Springs area

Looking for other Irish trad players in Palm Springs area

I'm in La Quinta (California) near Palm Springs until Nov. 13th and looking for any other trad players who may want to get together for some tunes. The closest sessions are over 2 hours away in San Diego or Costa Mesa. Anyone more local?

Sorry banjobabe - you're stuck in the vast music wasteland between Phoenix and SoCal. The only tunes you're liable to find in Palm Springs is Glenn Miller swing tunes and Frank Sinatra style lounge singers...

Hello folks,
I've just joined from Brisbane Australia but htis seems to be a mainly USA muso site. I play tenor banjo but it's a bit far to travel.

Oh, pheen...welcome...but there are plenty of other worldly members here. Silver Spear is from Edinburgh and I bet there are a lot more Aussies than you thought. Just do a session Search. You'll probably find one closer to you than I can to me. I wonder if any of those lounge singers need a back up tenor banjo player???
