Celtic music/instrument store(s) in Sydney?

Celtic music/instrument store(s) in Sydney?

Hi. I'm visiting Sydney, Australia at the moment, wondering if there are any good stores that sell celtic instruments? Heard about a store called Accordions 'n Folk, how (and where) is it?
What about sessions/gigs this week, are there any? I'm staying till Friday.
Greetings, Matti Kallio.

Matti
Accordians and Folk are in Broadway Leichhardt. You should find them in the yellow pages under Music.

No they're not anymore - they're moving to Bellingen. There are no more celtic instrument stores in Sydney as far as I know, and if you want to buy CDs, forget it - you're better off getting them online. Hey Matti where are you staying? Come to our session on Thursday and we can play The Girls Of Grindavik. It'd be great to see you! I'll e-mail you the details...

Bellingen is about 12 hours away from sydney. Do you have your instrument with you?? As Dow mentioned there is a nice tune session on thursday that we go to. Hope to see you there - I'm sure Dow has emailed you the details. bb

BTW 12 hours drive bb? That's nothing. Out here in the Western suburbs I have to drive 16 hours across the desert to get a loaf of bread.
