I was hoping on spending no more than 400US on the instrument (and then a bit more on a case). TC and David Kilpatrick's models are in my line of sight.
I wouldn't mind a store where I can try them side by side.
Mandolin Brothers' website shows a few OMs/Mandolas but they are way out of my budget. Similar problem with Rufus' Guitar shop.
instrument store in Vancouver (BC) or NYC?
instrument store in Vancouver (BC) or NYC?
I am looking for an instrument store in Vancouver or NYC
that sells bouzoukia (solid wood, beginner prices).
Reading earlier discussions it seems there are *no* such stores in NYC. Is this still accurate information?
Any recommended stores in Vancouver?
thanks.

Re: instrument store in Vancouver (BC) or NYC?
Rufus Guitar Shop in Vancouver usually has a few OMs or zouks (http://www.rufusguitarshop.com/) in stock. You might also want to try Prussin Music (http://www.prussinmusic.com/) which is a couple blocks from Rufus.

Check out Mandolin Brothers on Staten Island. They have a good web site.
How much are you interested in spending?
