Cambridge Folk Fest

Cambridge Folk Fest

Peatbog Faeries!!! unbelievable! Storming! Audience went berserk! I hope my hearing has recovered sufficiently to appreciate again later today the more refined brilliance of Altan!

Re: Cambridge Folk Fest

Cambridge and Folk in the same sentence?
Would Mike Harding touch it on his dire programme if CFF had anything to do with Folk? Radio 2 is probably the "kiss of death"

Granted, PBF and Altan are the exception to the above.

Re: Cambridge Folk Fest

And there are usually some pretty good sessions to be found if you've got backstage access or can stay sober enough late enough in the day/night!

Did you see Orkney's "The Chair"?

Re: Cambridge Folk Fest

Yes, they were a treat. So were Ross Ainslie and Jarlath Henderson on pipes. Michael McGoldrick was truly memorable. Lots more...
